Like it or not, we are all brands.
And a good brand comes from a place of strength. A strength is a talent or a skill we are born with or one we learn along life’s way.
Psychologists say that when we work in fields that utilize our talents and our strengths, we are happier, more satisfied, and more productive in our professional fields. It’s when we do our best work.
Makes sense? Right?
My clients always ask me, "How do I know what my talents and strengths are? How do I know what I do better than anyone else?"
That’s easy, I say.
Take the StrengthsFinder 2.0 test.
Here is the link to the book that will link you to a test to take that will reveal your top 5 strengths and point you to your gifts.
I have taken the test over the years to hone in on my own strengths.
As I write this now I am reminding myself to retake the test over the holidays as I begin planning brand-building steps for the new year. I am certain it will remind me of my unique strengths and motivate me to pursue them.
For those of you that would like a more advanced assessment, you can go directly to this link to take the Clifton Strengths test to find out your 34 top strengths.
What about you?
Do you know what your unique talent and strengths are? Have you taken the Strength Finder 2.0 test? Maybe it’s time!
While we’re waiting for the world to fully open up again, why not invest in knowing your strengths?
Did I mention it makes a great stocking stuffer?
