How to Get Booked on "The Doctors" with Supervising Producer Rob Sheiffele - 3 Takeaways

As a professional in the health and wellness space, appearing on the Emmy-winning show "The Doctors" can be a game-changer for your career.

Rob Sheiffele, Supervising Producer for "The Doctors," joined me for a 30-minute live chat on my live show Meet the Moment, where he shared the secret to a great pitch to the show and what it takes to be a great guest.

In case you missed the episode, here's my top 3 takeaways from our conversation.

  1. When pitching, show, don’t tell. Provide a link of who you’re pitching because describing how great they are can only go so far. Also important, can they self-produce? (No idea what it means to self produce... definitely check out the full episode!)

  2. In your pitch, make sure to identify what the important takeaway will be. Ask yourself, why do people need to see this?

  3. Remember what it’s like to be on the bottom rung and always be kind and thoughtful to those you work with. Those bookers and product assistants you're corresponding with are your friends - treat them well when you work with them!
