Which Level Influencer Are You, and What Does it Mean? l The Friday 3: September 17, 2021
Here's what I've been up to this week that may inspire you or teach you something new.
1) I'm re-reading...
one of my favorite books of all time.
A friend of mine is feeling “blue," so I sent him a book to inspire him: “The How of Happiness: A New Approach to Getting the Life You Want” by Sonia Lyubomirsky.
What makes this book different is the research background of the author who received her B.A. from Harvard University and her Ph.D in social psychology from Stamford University. Dr. Sonia Lyubomirsky’s research findings have won her many honors in the field of Positive Psychology and a multi-year grant from The National Institute of Mental Health.
You can take a quick look at her chapter headings here to see if this book may inspire you too:
Is It Possible to Become Happier?
How Happy Are You and Why?
How to Find Happiness Activities That Fit Your Interests, Your Values and Your Needs.
Practicing Gratitude and Positive Thinking
Investing In Social Connections
Managing Stress, Hardship and Trauma
Living In The Present
Happiness Activity: Committing To Your Goals
Taking Care of Your Body and Soul
2) I'm learning about...
the three types of social media influencers.
Micro-Influencer – these influencers have a smaller following and don’t have celebrity status, however, their authenticity attracts engagement and awareness and they have the ability to build personal relationships with their audience.
Macro-Influencer –these influencers have between 100K and 1 million followers and built their audience by creating content on the internet.
Mega-Influencer – the highest-ranking category of social media influencers. They have over a million followers and the majority of followers are made up of consumers. Many brands collaborate with mega-influencers to drive sales.
3) I'm getting ready to...
interview ultra influencer Dr. Wendy Walsh.
She currently has 553.2k followers on TiK Tok alone.
Dr. Wendy Walsh is a journalist, psychologist, professor and she’s "America’s Favorite Relationship Expert." She’s a “Brand Doing It Right” and she’ll be a guest on Meet The Moment next week to talk about how she built her audience and how she’s generating revenue through Patreon, which is taking her business to the next level.
You can view Dr. Wendy Walsh’s Patreon page and see her special offerings here.
Have an inspiring weekend!
